Kourtney Kelly Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bland Funeral Home - Petersburg on Jan. 19, 2023.
Kourtney was born on 09/04/90 in Beverly Hills, California to Richard A. Kelly, II and Janet Marie Garrett-Kelly. She leaves a sister, Ryketia Arnold and two brothers, Dillion and Elijah Kelly; son Zayvvion Ross, and baby's father, Raysean Ross behind. Also, brother, Richard A. Kelly, III who preceded her in death. She worked as a bank teller for SunTrust Bank for two years.
Kourtney was a free-spirited person. I was the one who named Kourtney and I got her name from a girl that I used to teach when I was a preschool teacher, Kourtney Marion Louise Kelly. Her favorite ice cream was cookies and cream. Her favorite movie was the Titanic. Her favorite fruit was watermelon. One summer she must've bought at least 15 or 16 watermelons and canned pineapple. One of Kourtney's favorite foods was potato salad. She always wanted me to make her a potato salad and she loved crumb apple pie her favorite and color was orange.
Her probably best friend was a girl named Frances who she met in Vallejo. They've been friends ever since they went to school together and they stayed close even though we moved to Virginia. Kourtney went to J Sergeant Reynolds Community College in Henrico and also went to John Tyler in Colonial Heights receiving a two-year degree. She also attended Virginia State University majoring in psychiatry. Kourtney loved going to the beach on the waterfront. On the streets she went by Megan. Kourtney met Rayshawn Ross and in 2013 they have a child together, Zayvvion Pharaoh Ross.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the caring professionals of Bland Funeral Home, 137 Harrison Street, Petersburg. For more information call us at (804) 732-7841.
