Kraig Robert Barnhard passed away on Sunday, September 21st, 2025, at the age of 55. Kraig was a beloved resident of Bridgeton, Michigan, whose presence was cherished by family and friends alike.

Kraig was born on February 25th, 1970, in Fremont, Michigan, to Robert J. Barnhard and Phyllis Kay (Halverson) Barnhard. Kraig was a devoted and skilled marine technician, dedicating many years to his craft with a passion that never waned. An enthusiast of life and adventure, Kraig had a profound love for snowmobiling, bird watching, fishing, shooting, hill climbing, and spending time with his faithful canine companion, Kap. These hobbies were more than pastimes; they were a testament to his adventurous spirit and his love of the great outdoors.

He is survived by his brother Kevin (Malinda) Barnhard, sister Tanya (Sean) Smith, niece Kayla Barnhard, great-nieces Aubrielle, Brynleigh, and Elise, as well as his Aunt Delores Dagen and Uncle Vic Halverson. Kraig was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Phyllis Barnhard, his brother John Barnhard, grandparents John and Ginger Barnhard and Lawrence and Mary Halverson, and several aunts and uncles, including Ronald Dagen, Tina Halverson, and Don and Doris Barnhard.
