Krista Leigh Moss

Krista Leigh Moss, 32, was born February 5, 1993 in Asheville, NC. Her struggles ended here on earth December 14, 2025 and she began her peaceful walk with her Savior Jesus Christ. She was a graduate of the 2011 class from Crossnore Academy where she received a scholarship and attended Mayland Community College and received a degree in Criminal Justice. Krista is preceded in death by her daughter, Zailey; Paternal grandfather, Clingman Moss and Maternal grandfather, Eddie Lunsford.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kinsley, Everley and Marley; mother, Diana K. Hunter and father, Eric W. Moss; siblings, Isac Clinton, Tristan and Cheyenne Moss; paternal grandmother, Rebecca Allen and maternal grandmother, Rexie Riddle, who loved Krista beyond measure. Krista is also survived by Tracy H. Hunter (step father) who loved her unconditionally, extended family, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service. Reverend Dalton Ramsey will officiate. The burial will follow in the Ledford-Atkins Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
