Kristen was a woman of strong faith, which guided her through various phases of her life. Kristen delighted in spending quality time with her family, whether it was laughing, cooking, or supporting her grandchildren in their activities. Kristen was an animal lover, often seen walking her cats and dogs.
Kristen's life was a testament to her immense heart and unwavering dedication to her loved ones, leaving behind a legacy of love and strength. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Kristen is survived by her husband, Jose Nunez; daughters, Vanessa Kern and Brittany Crosby; grandchildren, Jaxiel Rivera, Lanay Ruffin, and Adrianna Torres; mother Sandra Kern; sister, Michele Kern Harrison. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Kern Sr; brother, Christopher Kern; sister, Mary Kern; and niece, Lisa Brotherton.

Kristen lived & loved with the biggest heart. She gave love from her soul as a dear friend. I was lucky enough to find her and to become best friends.
We had our silly moments. Weird moments when looking at each other we just knew what the other was thinking. I will miss her laugh! I miss her smile and talks at lunch or catching up in the morning. Updates about the furbabies.
She was so proud of Jax! And hopeful about the man he would become. Excited about her new married life with Jose. He was the world to her.
I am missing you now my friend as I am writing this. You have my prayers for peace.

I am so sorry to hear of Kristen´s passing. I may not know Kristen as well as others but I can say that her kind heart shined every time we spoke. The hearing of her passing stopped me for I know this world lost a kind soul. She spoke highly of family and was very proud of her grandson and proudly showed his homecoming picture. My thoughts and prayers to her family during this difficult time and may you take comfort in knowing she will continue to be your guardian angel from above.

I am very saddened by the news of Kristen´s passing. I will miss her beautiful, smiling face at work. She was always looking out for us with an extra bottle of water or a snack. She also had an ear to lend when someone needed it. It will not be the same without her. Rest in peace my friend.

Kristen you and I became fast friends just d ue to your nature, I'm so glad I had the opportunity to be your friend I'm greatful for the short time but sad so short, I was so happy you came to where I work at the farm Hillside equestrian meadows and brought your dog / loved one Nala. We just spoke last week I can't believe my friend is gone, I'm hoping you are resting in peace and watching over all our pets and loved ones that have passed, love you much my friend .
