KRISTEN ROSE KOSTMAN
June 8, 1987 ˜ August 17, 2023
Kristen was a quiet, loving child who accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior at Vacation Bible School at the age of 6. She attended Sunday school at Crossroads Community Church for years. She is survived by her parents, Dennis and Susan King-Kostman; her sister, Casey Kostman; and nieces, Jubilee and Jasmine Kostman; also her uncle Pat D. King; her aunt, Katie King-Thomas; and several cousins. She was married to Melton ’Bud’ Thrasher and stepmother to his two children. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, David W. and Katie M. King (who took her to Disneyland when she was 9) and Carl and Vernice Kostman. Her grandma Kostman spent many Sundays with Kristen and family playing games and watching movies. She attended Harmony Elementary, Pacific Middle School, Evergreen High School, and Clark College. She lived in homesteads in Battle Ground and Amboy, raised many animals, and loved them all. She was artistic, loved to decorate, and collected antiques. She was an excellent cook and baker. She loved music, trips to Long Beach, and camping. She was employed in the legal and medical fields. Unfortunately, Kristen battled addictions. She loved her family and her pets. Now she’s at peace with the Lord.
A celebration of life service is Friday, Sept. 8, from 1 to 4 p.m., at Officers Row, O.O Howard House, 750 Anderson St. A, Vancouver 98661.

I remember her telling casey and I when she was young that her sprit animal was a loin. She was a sweet happy girl. This took me back, may jesus hold her tight.

The one thing I´ll always remember about Kristen is her laugh and how much me and her sister would die laughing together. We had so many fun memories growing up together. I´ll miss her with all my heart.
