Kris was so kind and thoughtful and I loved working with her. My fondest memory was when Kris gave me a Winnie the Pooh Basinet with only a days notice. We had just learned of an upcoming adoption and the baby came 2 weeks early, so we had no time to prepare. Kris made sure the basinet was delivered to my house before we brought the baby home from the hospital. Here is a picture of Kris with Alissa, when Alissa was 2 months old. Kris was always thinking of others and doing kind things for them. I will miss her. Kim Diamond-Smith

I'll remember how Kris was always the first one of the day, or even day before, to wish me a happy birthday. No matter how busy things were at work or what else was going on, I always got my birthday message from her. It wasn't just about the birthday, but it was the way Kris had of making people feel remembered, valued, and cared for. That little act each year reminded me of her big heart and generous spirit. I have many sweet memories of working with Kris that I will cherish. She reminded me of my big sister who I love so much. I will miss her deeply but I will carry the memories with me always. Rest in paradise, Kris!
