Longview Funeral Home & CemeteryKristina Renee Boxley passed away peacefully at her mothers home in Grandview, Missouri, on Friday, December 5, 2025, at the age of 40. She was born on July 22, 1985, in Harrisonville, Missouri.
A committed wife and dedicated stay-at-home mother, Kristina’s greatest joy was creating a loving and adventurous life for her family. Though reserved and quiet at times, she was undeniably the life of the party, always ready to bust out the C-walk and turn up the music. She embraced life with infectious energy and a fierce spirit.
Kristina lived an active and vibrant life alongside her family as they moved through numerous military posts, including Fort Riley, KS; Fort Wheeler, HI; Fort Ellsworth, SD; Fort Drum, NY; Fort Carson, CO; and Fort Leavenworth, KS. She loved the outdoors and the thrill of adventure, whether she was hiking, enjoying the spectacle of fireworks, or sitting on the porch to watch a thunderstorm roll in. She was a dedicated Christian.
Her hobbies were a reflection of her dynamic personality: she loved lifting weights, playing cornhole and card games, dancing, and caring for her beloved house plants. A true creative, she successfully ran a marathon and channeled her energy into building and finishing several beautiful sets of cornhole boards and outdoor tables. Kristina had a flair for makeup and beauty, always insisted on having a real Christmas tree, and her favorite place to be was simply with her two boys and husband.
Kristina is preceded in death by her loving husband, Randy James Boxley.
She is survived by her two beloved sons, Kolton James Boxley and Jayce Thomas Boxley; her parents, Janice Elaine Pile and her stepfather, Jeremy Todd Pile, and her father, Timothy Edward Mizer; her sisters, Tiffany Marie Cummings and Markie Rose Rakestraw; and her loyal family dog, Baxter Boxley.
