Kristina Lyn Gilbert, age 68, of Centerville, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at Golden Age Care Center in Centerville.
Tina was born May 17, 1957 in Michigan, the daughter of Isaac and Mary Lou (Willard) Johnson. She graduated from Clark County High School in Osceola, and continued her education at Indian Hills Community College, obtaining her bookkeeping degree.
Tina dedicated many years of her life to Wells Manufacturing in Centerville, where she worked with dedication and passion until her retirement. She was known for her strong work ethic and her commitment to excellence, traits that she carried with her throughout her life.
After retiring, Tina found joy in the simple comforts of home. She cherished the time she spent there, creating a space of warmth and love. More than anything, Tina loved being surrounded by her grandchildren. Whether playing games, sharing stories, or simply enjoying quiet moments together, her grandchildren were her greatest joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
Tina's legacy is one of kindness, strength, and devotion to family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
Left to cherish Tina's memory are her children, Anthony Whicker and Brian Patrick; her daughter-in-law, Sabrina Martin; her grandchildren, Bentley Whicker, Haydn Whicker, Michelle Jones, Taylor Martin, Tori Martin and Teagan Martin; her siblings, Tom Johnson, David Johnson, and Joanne Morrison; as well as several extended family members and friends.
Tina was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Mary Lou Johnson; her sister, Sharon Jenkins and her brother, Rick Baughey.
Per wishes, cremation has been accorded and there will be no services at this time. An open memorial has been established in honor of Kristina Gilbert. Please donate to any organization in her name if you choose. We as a family thank you for honoring her.
