Kristina Hutson Obituary
Kristina was born in San Diego, CA to Linda Stark Axelson. Kristina attended Scripps Ranch High School, San Diego graduating in 1997. Continuing her education at Mesa College, San Diego where she was able to foster her love of the ocean.
Kristina married Jake Hutson in 2006 in Carlsbad, CA where she had her dream wedding on the beach. They welcomed their daughter Gabrielle Renee in 2007 moving to Willows shortly after. Danielle Marie joined their trio in 2010. Kristina's family was her whole life. She had amazing friends who could count on her to show up to everything from sport to 4-H, birthdays to graduations, our flip flop loving girl was there. No matter what was needed or fun to be had, she was the first one to be there for family and friends.
Kristina is survived by her husband Jake Hutson, daughters Gabrielle and Danielle Hutson, soul sister Tyler Willis, Papa Richard (Dick) Stark, and Aunt Linda Axelson. Her San Diego family Mark & Linda Axelson, brother Matt Axelson (wife Kristine), sister Marissa Axelson, and sister Rebecca Robertson (husband Andrew). Her Willows family Grandma Mary Hershkowitz, Jim and Nancy Hutson, Billy and Monica Throm, Brian and Corey Richards, Evan Hutson and the cousin crew.
Kristina is preceded in death by her Nana Alice Stark, Grandparents Joseph and Rae Axelson, Uncles Charlie, Mark and Pete Hershkowitz.
A Celebration of life for Kristina will be held on September 20th from 11 am to 3 pm at the Orland Fairgrounds in Flaherty Hall, 221 E. Yolo Street, Orland CA 95963.
Arrangements are held under the direction of Sweet-Olsen Family Mortuary.

My first memory of Kristina was in the First grade at Jerabek Elementary School in Scripps Ranch. We were in the same Brownie and Girl Scout Troops. I always admired her pretty blonde hair. She had moved away for a short time and we were quick friends again in high school. On New Year´s Eve, I had a babysitting job and the family allowed me to bring a friend. Kristina agreed to hang out with me on her birthday! When it came time to split the money, she insisted that I keep it. That´s the kind of person she was. My heart goes out to her entire family, and sending love and continued comfort to her husband and girls.

I'll remember Kristina for always being so involved and helpful. While she lived in Willows she was very active with the PTA and after Carol Lemanager retired from the Recreation Department we saw Kristina fill in; driving around in the golf cart, organizing and directing all the soccer games. She always had a smile and was always willing to help everyone. My condolences to her family.

I had the privilege of teaching Gabby and Danny at Plaza School. Kristina helped in my classroom and was alway loving and helpful to all the students. She was always so fun and positive. My heart is breaking. Sending hugs and prayers to her family.

22 years ago I was new to the North County/ San Diego area, going through a divorce, and was a single mom to a baby girl. I didn´t have any friends in the area and decided to try and go make some. I met Kristina that night. I have so many amazing memories of her it´s hard to share just one. I will always hold her close to my heart. Always there when I needed her and even when I didn´t deserve her. I´m going to miss her so much.

Our daughters were in the same class at Plaza elementary. When I shared the incredibly sad news with my daughter her first thoughts were for Dani and Gabby. Her heart and mine break for a family who deserved more time with a dedicated mom and wife Sending love and prayers
