Kristi has forever shaped my life and leaves a huge void in so many of our lives. Forever in my heart.

Matt, I'm so sorry to hear about your wife. May you and your boys be surrounded by love and support in the coming days, weeks and years as you go through this difficult time.

Kristi was pure light. I worked with Jill at Doane College and remember Kristi as a ray of sunshine. She lit up a room whenever she came in. Just seeing her made you happy. What a wonderful blessing to have know her.

She was a great person that all of us from Barton Solvent will miss. She was always glad to talk about her family and children. And always had a smile.

Kristi was a student in my sixth grade class at Morley Elementary in Lincoln, Nebraska. Now, I have encountered many students over my years in education, but I have always remembered her. She was sweet and bright and mature beyond her years. She treated others with such respect and had a great deal of insight regarding other people and how they were motivated. She was a deep thinking and reflective young woman. The Bales lived in the same neighborhood as I did and so I would see her throughout the summer. Kristi always took time to come over and greet me. I always knew she would be something special. She was beautiful and obviously became a wonderful wife and incredible mom. I know that she will be greatly missed. My sympathies to all.

Kristi was a pleasure to work with, smart, funny and kind. She always spoke with such love of her children, husband and family. She will be greatly missed.

Matt and the family, we are so sad to hear of this. Too young and too sudden. A very nice woman. May God comfort you at this time.

The past few days have brought many wonderful memories of past times, beginning with First Plymouth Preschool and continuing with Confirmation, church school, and then the addition of Kristi in the memories when Matt found a miracle in his life. Remember those prehomecoming, etc pictures at our house, etc. we share tears with you, but most importantly, wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you, God, for sharing one of your angels with us for 36 years!
