Kristine Lynn Cummings

Kristine Lynn Cummings, 47, resident of Manchester, NH died on April 2, 2023 in Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, MA, after a period of declining health.
She was born on February 2, 1976 in Worcester, MA a daughter of the late Edward S. and Linda (Hebert) Cummings III.
Kristine was raised in Shrewsbury, MA and then Amherst, NH where she was a graduate of Souhegan High School in 1994. She continued her education after high school at the Hallmark Institute of Photography in Turners Falls, MA. Kristine was faced with health challenges from an early age which did not define her life but certainly made her a champion for helping people. She continued on her education journey with nursing school attaining a bachelor's degree and a registered nursing certification. Kristine was the recipient of a successful heart transplant and was eternally grateful to her donor.
She was most recently living in Manchester, NH where she had bought a house which she was really turning into a home that would make anyone proud. She truly was an inspiration to many with her courage and fight for life! Regretfully she leaves behind a brother, Scott Cummings and his wife, Theresa Cummings, along with a nephew, Connor, and a niece, Makayla, who adored her and will miss her. Her Uncle Steve & Aunt Linda in Myrtle Beach, SC will miss their frequent facetime conversations. Her great friends Sheila & Ed McDowell will hold their time and memories with Kristine close to their heart. She has left behind cousins and many friends who love her and will miss her every day. Lastly, Kristine had a special bond with her Mom who passed away in 2018. It brings us peace to know they are together again.

SERVICES: A calling hour will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH 03055. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM in the funeral home Chapel. Burial will be private in the spring in the family plot, Meadowview Cemetery, Amherst.
