Kristine Marie Wierzbicki
July 24, 1971 - September 1, 2025
With extremely heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kristine Marie Wierzbicki. Kristine passed away on September 1, 2025 at the age of 54 in Naperville, IL. Kristine will be deeply missed by her family and all those whose lives and hearts she touched.
Kristine was born in Aurora, IL on July 24, 1971 to Caroleen and Karol Wierzbicki Sr. She graduated from West Aurora High School and spent most of her life in the surrounding areas. She found passion in her nursing career and spent many years providing skilled and compassionate care. She put her whole heart and self into ensuring that those she cared for were given high quality care and felt her love. Besides her love of caregiving, Kristine was first and foremost very family oriented. She deeply loved her family and endlessly strived to put them first. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest pride and joy. She had a great love for animals, especially her two dogs, Chewey and Precious. She enjoyed traveling, finding lighthouses, nature and country music. She was a very strong, beautiful and loving woman with a very vibrant personality, good sense of humor, a big heart, and a very warm and special smile.
Kristine is preceded in death by her father Karol Wierzbicki Sr., her brother Eric Wierzbicki, her sister Michelle Wierzbicki, and her paternal grandparents Hedwig (nee Borschcz) and Stanley Wierzbicki.
She is survived by her daughter Katelyn (Josh) Cooper, her four grandchildren Laila, Milo, Noelle and Baby O, her son Lucius Wierzbicki, her mother Caroleen Wierzbicki, her brother Karol (Nicole) Wierzbicki, her sister Carrie Seppelfrick, her best friend and sister by heart Christine Zyles, her Aunt Linda (Harold) Diepholz, her Uncle Mike (Kathy) Wierzbicki, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and several other aunts and uncles.
Kristine has chosen to not have any funeral nor celebration of life services and her family wishes to honor her decision. Please celebrate her life by keeping her in your hearts and by sharing memories of her that bring happiness.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family or donations to https://www.woofproject.org/
