Earlier today
Dr. Kul Aggarwal was not only an exceptional cardiologist but also a dedicated leader within the American Association of Cardiologists of Indian Origin. His visionary contributions and unwavering commitment to advancing cardiovascular health have left an indelible mark on our organization and the broader medical community. As a past president, he inspired us with his passion, integrity, and devotion to service.
His legacy will continue to guide our work and live on in the countless lives he touched through his practice and his unforgettable contributions to AACIO. We encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect on Dr. Aggarwal´s impact and the memories we shared with him.
Let us remember Dr. Aggarwal not only for his professional accomplishments but also for his kind spirit and the warmth he brought to every interaction.
With heartfelt condolences,
Rakesh and Shelly Sharma,

Yesterday
I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Aggarwal for 30 years at the VA hospital. After I would identify a patient with myocardial perfusion abnormality with nuclear medicine imaging, they would get a remedy from him. My remark to him was "I find them, you fix them". Upon his retirement from the VA a few years ago, I wrote the following verse:
Kul is such a savvy guy
We are sad to say goodbye
He has worked here many years
Most will say he has no peers
And a legend he will be
Especially in our memory
