Kurt Gillman, 84, of Cave City passed away in August of 2025. Kurt spent much of his life in California and was a film buff. He was especially fond of classic and sci-fi movies. Kurt shared stories of meeting Walt Disney and winning a date with Annette Funicello before he joined the US Navy. Kurt loved jazz music and later in life he bebopped to Arkansas and worked as a custodian for the local school district. In addition to his fondness for films, he was an avid motorcyclist. Kurt was the eldest of five children and was married twice. He leaves behind friends and family that loved him: 4 brothers, 4 children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A private celebration of life will be held with family and close friends.
