Kurt Masur

I am so sorry to hear of his passing and having the terribly debilitating disease. and not since Zuben Mehta was the orchestra a force in the industry. Living in NYC the last 27 years I must say the Philomonic is back to being a world class orchestra and this success must be credited to Kurt for his discipline and musical prowess made this group respect him from day one and it still shows today.

Masur was one talented, strong man, whose contribution to music and society touched the hearts of many.
