Courtney, I never met your husband or you but I am a big time hunter and fisherman. I saw your husband and Trent on Billy Molls hunting show where I got to listen to him talk about his brain operation. Kurt was very much in love with you and it came across when he stated that he was not worried about himself but he was worried about. Without even knowing him I know he was a good man. My condolences to you and your family on the loss of your husband. God Bless your family!

My favorite memory of Kurt occurred on the very first day I met him. I was at home that day just visiting with an old friend when my doorbell rang. I opened the front door and was met by a handsome man with a beautiful smile. He asked if he could come in and I, of course, said "sure" (feeling safe since I had a friend with me). He said, "I'm Kurt Packingham and I assume you're Courtney's mom?" I said I was and he immediately began telling me how much he loved Courtney and hoped to marry her but wanted to discuss it with me first. WOW, was I impressed with him. He went on to say he just wanted me to know that he would always take care of her. There were tears all around and there was a sense that this man was one of the good guys. And that sense proved true. He was a good guy!!!! And he will be missed.
