Kurt was one of a kind—a brilliant, curious soul with a smirk that always said he was one step ahead of the joke.
He inspired me—and so many others—to push harder, train smarter, and eat wiser. His knowledge of fitness and nutrition was unmatched, and no one hit leg day like him. His creativity, especially in his writing, revealed a mind full of wonder and depth.
Though time and distance pulled us apart, the memories we made—wild, outrageous, and just plain crazy—will stay with me forever. I only wish I’d made more time to talk with him in recent years.
He was a loyal friend, a colorful character, and truly unforgettable. My heartfelt condolences to his family and to everyone lucky enough to have been touched by him.
Rest easy, Kurty. You left a mark.

Time moves by the second. They come and go- creating what we will call the past. As seconds move, memories are made that last a lifetime. I could not gather belief when I heard of this loss. Kurt was a great dude and inspired many. Last I saw him, he captained his souvenir cap from his latest adventure abroad. He appeared so fresh and proud of the experience. I was only passing through as a former employee; stopping to catch up for a brief spell. He always stood ten toes down in his bright colors and vibrant shoes. We developed a working relationship as we shared the experience of being in leadership. When I first knew of Kurt it was in the days of Covid. He stood the front door calling order to the lines of people formed to enter the store. I recall his cool shirt with wings on the back. Above them read, "Affliction". It is a brand, but did not match who Kurt was at all. It would be more like, "Redeemed". May God bless you in your mourning. Might strength come to you as you seek peace. My prayers to you and your family & friends.

I worked with Kurt for the past 2 years and he was a really good to work with. He would always smile and help out in paint. Always motivated to work. I will never forget what he has done for us and he will always touch our hearts. So sad he passed away all of a sudden but glad he's not suffering anymore. We will miss him dearly.
