Kyle Armstrong Obituary

KINGSPORT - Kyle Dee Armstrong, 75, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 2, 2024 unexpectedly due to an apparent heart attack. He was born in Kingsport where he lived his entire life. Kyle was a graduate of Sullivan High School, class of 67. He was an employee of Domtar, retiring in 2014, after 45 years of service. Kyle was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of Glen Alpine United Methodist Church. Kyle enjoyed playing pool.
He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Armstrong; first wife, Donna; and brother, Eugene Williams.
Kyle is survived by his wife, Kay Armstrong, of the home; son, Brandon Armstrong; mother, Velvin C. Armstrong; and brother, Theodore Lynn Armstrong and wife Janice.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. A Celebration of Life will follow at 3 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Strong officiating.

I have many happy memories of playing in the huge snows we had when we were kids. Loved all our neighbors and school friends !
Very sorry we can not be at the memorial service as we are out of town.
