In Loving Memory

Kyle Jennings Clark

June 17, 1985 - January 25, 2026

MEXICO, NY - It is with profound heartbreak that the family of Kyle J. Clark, age 40, announces his unexpected and tragic passing on January 25, 2026. Born on June 17, 1985 in Oswego, NY, Kyle was a cherished son to Randy C. Clark and Debra J. Heagerty and a beloved brother to Kaitlyn N. Green.

Kyle was a kind soul known for his generosity, kindness, giant heart, incredible sense of humor, and his amazing memory. He was passionate about racing, snowmobiling, boating, watching Michigan football, and spending time with his son. His life, while cut far too short, was full of love for his friends and family.

Kyle enjoyed watching NASCAR with his father growing up, and attending races at the Oswego Speedway. He had many racetracks and model race cars in the house as a boy and even went on to race in a few stock car races at the Oswego Speedway. In more recent years, Kyle worked on the pit crew of Chad Phelps racing. He loved the racing scene.

Kyle graduated from Mexico Academy and Central Schools in 2003 and pursued some college credits at Cayuga Community College.

Kyle was employed by the Birdseye Plant in Fulton as a forklift operator until they closed down. He was most recently employed by the James A. Fitzpatrick Nuclear Power Plant as a Security Guard.

Kyle was preceded in death by his father, Randy C. Clark; step father, Paul J. Heagerty; grandparents, Owen and Shirley Clark, Ralph Jennings, and June Hansen (Mogens). He is survived by his son, Tucker J. Clark; his mother, Debra J. Heagerty; his sister, Kaitlyn N. Green (Jacob); his stepbrother, Paul N. Heagerty; his nephews, Curtis J. Wright and Alexander R. Wright; and his beloved niece, Emma C. Green; his grandmother, Beverly Jones; as well as several aunts and uncles.

Kyle was a large presence and had a sense of humor just as big. He had many friends who have been so good to him over the years. He loved his son Tucker more than anything and was so proud of him on the soccer eld and in many other ways. He loved his nephews and his niece and was full of smiles when they stopped in for a visit.

The family would like to thank the rst responders who went above and beyond to try and save him.

A Graveside Service and Celebration of Life will be held in his hometown of Mexico, NY at a later date. We encourage everyone to bring a photo or story to share.

Arrangements are in care of Harter Funeral Home, Inc. Mexico, NY.
