Kyle J. Knodt of Lumberton passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Virtua Lourdes Hospital in Camden, NJ. He was 63.
Kyle grew up in Berlin, NJ and was a 1980 graduate of Eastern High School. While at Eastern, he played Football, Baseball, Basketball and threw the Javelin. He also met his High School sweetheart and wife Andrea. Kyle went to Albright College in Reading, PA and Trenton State College. He was a people person and he put those skills to good use in his career in Boat Sales and Financing.
Kyle enjoyed the casinos, playing golf and skiing. He was chatty, loved by all his friends, and was full of fun facts and trivia. He knew a little bit about everything. Kyle could also get you anywhere in NJ. When his daughter, Kirsten, started playing field hockey, he became an avid fan of the sport and continued to cheer on local South Jersey players throughout their college careers as well. Kyle was a devoted Philadelphia sports fan; Eagles, Phillies, Sixers, Penn State and Temple.
The son of the late Harry Knodt, he is survived by his wife of 39 years, Andrea; his daughter Kirsten; his beloved mother Kay; sister and brother-in-law Kathy Knodt and David Stoner; brother-in-lawRichard and his wife Lyse; sister-in-law Juliette and her husband Kevin; Nephew and Nieces Josh, Julie, and Charity; countless friends and colleagues and loving furry companions Aspen and Bean.
Visitation from 10am - 11am with Memorial Service to follow Saturday, February 15th at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 910 Marne Highway, Hainesport, NJ 08046. Please join us immediately following to celebrate his life at Dadz Bar and Grill, 744 Main Street, Lumberton, NJ 08048.
In lieu of flowers contributions in Kyle's memory may be made to the Burlington County Animal Shelter, 35 Academy Drive, Westampton, NJ 08060
