Kyle W. LaFollette

Kyle W. LaFollette, 60, of Galesburg, Illinois, died at home unexpectedly on March 12, 2025.

Kyle was born June 8, 1964 in Galesburg, the son of Wesley T. and Mary Jo (Muzzy) LaFollette. Kyle married Shawn Marci Dykes on September 6, 1986. He preceded her in death on September 6, 2022. Kyle is survived by two daughters, Rayn LaFollette of Alabaster, Alabama and Robin King of Clewiston, Florida; one son, Rollin LaFollette of Clewiston, Florida; his mother, Mary Jo LaFollette of Galesburg; ten grandchildren; and one sister, Laura Elliott of Galesburg. Along with his wife, Kyle was preceded in death by his father.

Kyle worked as a fisherman for multiple fish houses for many years while living in Clewiston, Florida. He also worked for a time as a welder at a machine shop. Outside of work Kyle still enjoyed spending time fishing, listening to rock-n-roll, and playing his guitar.
