Kyle E. Martel, 35 of Victory, Vermont died peacefully at home on January 20, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Kyle was born to Raymond and Tracey Martel in Willimantic, CT on April 29, 1990. Kyle loved outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, and snowmobiling with his dad. Kyle also enjoyed tractor pulling at the fall fairs.

Kyle ‘s largest accomplishments included long distance hikes on the Vermont long trail in 2019 and the Appalachian trail in 2021 which he gained the trail name “Houdini”. Upon completion of the AT, Kyle started his own landscaping business km lawn care LLC. Kyle put in the hard work and long hours having it all pay off with clients that respected and became fond of him. Kyle was a good man that valued his family and friends. He touched a lot of lives with his smile, warm heart, and kindness. Kyle is survived by his parents, Raymond and Tracey Martel. a sister, Alicia (Doug), her children Paxton and ava, as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Kyle was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Joseph R & Doris Martel. his maternal grandparent Bernard Thibado. a sister Meaghan Martel, and his beloved dog jenny.

There will be a celebration of life for Kyle from 1:00pm - 3:30pm on February 1, 2026, at the home of his good friends Shawn and Emily Swallow 1166 Lancaster Road, Lancaster, NH. There will be an additional celebration of life for Kyle in Connecticut April 25, 2026, with more details to follow for April.
