Kyle Avery Miller (Harris)

Kyle Avery Miller (Harris), beloved son, brother, friend, and military veteran, passed away on May 2, 2024. He was born on November 30, 1994.

Kyle's kind and loving spirit touched the lives of many. He graduated from Marbury High School in 2013 and further pursued his academic endeavors at A.U.M., working towards a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. Alongside his dedication to education, Kyle served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 2015 until 2021 with the Force Support Squadron. During his service, he was stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base in Shreveport, Louisiana, and embarked on a deployment to Spain. Away from his military duties, Kyle found solace in spending time outdoors with his cherished golden retrievers. He had a special bond with his companions and treasured every moment in their company. In addition to his military achievements and hobbies, Kyle had a close-knit circle of family and friends who meant the world to him. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Orene and Robert Johnson, grandmother, Mary Elaine Bridge, uncle, Dwaine Johnson along with his cousins, Tyler and Adam French.

He is survived by his parents, Donna J. and Ray Miller; sisters, Lauren Miller and Ashley Peden; grandparents, Bob and Sylvia Harris; aunt, Mary Anne (Tim) Harsh, Delinda (Randy) Ray, Kerri (Tim) Ingram; uncles, David Johnson, Dennis Harris, Bobby (Melinda) Harris and Derry (Theresa) Johnson; cousins Aimee French and Cody Johnson; his best friends Forrest Williams and Brett Garner; his golden retriever, Tucker as well as the family dogs, Cooper and Aubie.

Funeral services will be on May 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Church at the Brook in Millbrook, Alabama with Rev. Scott Girlie officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home of Selma directing. The service will be live streamed on the funeral home's Facebook page. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens at Prattville Memorial with military honors. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the church.

Serving as pallbearers will be Forrest Williams, Bret Garner, Josiah Bush, Korey Endress, Austin Creel and Seth Thornburgh.
