Kyle Olmstead, 37, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
He was born June 1, 1988 in Kansas City, Missouri to Roger and Tammy (Lollar) Olmstead. Kyle grew up in St. Joseph and was a 2007 graduate of Lafayette High School. He earned his welding certificate at Hillyard Technical Center and attended Missouri Western State University.
He recently marked his 15th year of work at AG Processing.
Kyle enjoyed welding and woodworking, and loved his two dogs, Lucy and Jody.
He had a big heart and liked to help others. His family will cherish his love and memory forever.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roger; and grandfathers, David Olmstead and Francis Lollar.
Survivors include his mother, Tammy; grandmothers, Felva Lollar and Carol Olmstead; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other extended family and friends.
