It's been an honor to be your niece. Life is not going to be the same without you. Thank you for being a mentor and loving Kam, Quinn and myself. Thank you for welcoming little 10 year old me way back when, with open arms and giving me extended family that loved me for the last 25 years. You changed my life for the better. You changed a whole community for the better.

Buffy, I am so sorry for your loss. I never really got to know you but the time I worked for Kyle at the Waitsfield location always brings fond memories. Kyle was so much fun and such a great boss. Certain songs I hear on the radio remind me of bagels and whipping different cream cheese flavors! Such fond high school memories. What a wonderful life she had with you!

Such a heartbreaking loss for our little town community. Kyle´s energy was contagious, and her genuine love for the people that came through those café doors was like no other. It never failed when she´d see me after years of traveling, she´d greet me by name with a hug, and immediately ask how my mom and grandmother were doing. And she cared about my answer. She´d ask how I´d been, what was new, all while still stocking coolers and keeping everything looking nice. 30 years I´ve looked forward to seeing her when stopping by KC´s. She will be so deeply missed by anyone who had the honor of knowing her. May she rest in peace, no longer suffering the pain she endured. Sending so much love to Buffy and the rest of Kyle´s family and friends as they navigate this loss. My deepest condolences to you all.

Kyle it´s been over 50 years-even in high school you were as kind as you were beautiful! Always, always a source of light and love to all you knew you! In later years you bailed me out with stuff for the rink SO many times- day or night you were always there with a smile and a hug. You and Buffy were way more than I deserved, but so appreciated and hopefully you knew how much I loved you! Rest in peace pain free my friend, until you and Buffy are together again. You are missed deeply.

Our daughter's first high school job was working for Kyle and Buffy and that family connection remained long after Kayla moved away. We are deeply sorry to learn of this loss. Our hearts go out to all the friends and family impacted. The community will miss Kyle always. Dawn and David O'Toole

Kyle was a patient at our wellness center for decades. She was always fit, tan, smiling and beautiful and I will always remember her that way. We had so many laughs and would commiserate about life and family. She always made me feel like she cared about what was going on in my life and she was always so present in any conversation. Her and Buffy were so kind and generous and would bring me my fav soup and bagels just because they were thinking about me and knew I loved it. It has been my honor to be Kyle's friend and watching the way Buffy has been so strong and supportive through this terrible disease is nothing short of beautiful. My heart goes out to Buffy and all of her family and friends. This is truly a deep loss for anyone who knew her. May she rest without pain and soar to a place of peace and beauty where she deserves to be.

I was Kyles neighbor for many years on Stowe Street . I was in the salon out back of the same building. There was never a day I didn´t see her . We were friends . And then I was friends with Buffy . They certainly were hard working and very friendly women . I feel Blessed I was their friend. They were Great neighbors. I´m So Sorry Buffy . Kyle should not have died So Young . Cancer has taken so many people . It´s a terrible disease that needs to find a Cure . Think of All the Good Things You Two had Together. I´m sending you Buffy a Huge Hug from me .
I Love you my friend

My kind, beautiful and wonderful friend. You brought your light into my life and remained a constant source of all that is good. Your smile and the twinkle in your eyes whenever you and Buffy were cooking up another project was always the highlight of my day. Rest now gentle women and know that you are in our hearts and prayers. Thinking of you and Buffy.
