Kyle Schwab
July 11, 2005 – October 12, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kyle Schwab, beloved son, brother, and friend, who left us far too soon at the age of 19. Born on July 11, 2005, in Paradise, CA, Kyle brought light, laughter, and energy to everyone fortunate enough to know him. His smile could brighten any room, and his humor made every moment more enjoyable.
Kyle graduated from Paradise High School in 2023 and had just completed his last season with the Yuba City Stripers, where his extraordinary talent as a pitcher shone brightly. Known for his intense competitive spirit, he always gave his all, whether on the mound or in life. His determination and drive made him a standout, and he brought joy and a contagious love of the game to his teammates and everyone around him.
Outside of baseball, Kyle had a wide-ranging taste in music, from classic rock to modern hits. He loved video games and cherished time working on his motorcycle with his dad, bonding over their shared passion for riding. Kyle's kindness, infectious smile, and magnetic personality made those around him feel seen and valued; his presence will be missed more than words can express.
Kyle is survived by his loving parents, Danielle Patrich and Zach Schwab, his younger sister Layla Schwab, and his younger brother Levi Schwab.
Kyle's life touched so many, and his impact will continue to be felt for years to come. He changed the lives of everyone who knew him, and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those he loved and inspired.
A service to celebrate Kyle's life will be held at Grace Community Church in Chico, CA, on November 9th at 1:00 PM. The family asks that everyone wear baseball attire in Kyle's honor-just please, no Dodgers gear, as Kyle was an avid Giants fan.
