Kyle Alden Slone

Kyle Alden Slone, 23, of Waverly, Ohio, passed unexpectedly at CAMC Teays Valley Hospital, West Virginia.

Kyle was born November 25, 2002, in Chillicothe, Ohio, the son of Shannon Slone, and Kimberly (Justice) Slone, who survive.

Kyle was known as a loyal friend, devoted son, dedicated uncle, and his proudest role, a loving father. He shared his daughter, Emery "Emmy" May Slone, with his caring partner and other half, Clover Hope Smith, who both survive. During their time together, Kyle and Clover filled Emmy's life with laughter, adventure, and an unwavering love.

In addition to his parents, Clover, and Emmy, he is survived by his sisters, Faith Slone, and Michelle Fisher, and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and loving family members.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, and his brother-in-law, Nic Fisher.

Kyle was a graduate of Western High School, class of 2021. He was an employee of Pegasus Industries, Chillicothe, Ohio, where he worked as a warehouse shift supervisor. He enjoyed dirt bike racing, the car community, gaming, and attending concerts. While Kyle was the truest definition of a "man's man", he never hesitated to show his loved one's that he loved them with all his heart. His legacy of thrill-seeking, loyalty, and devotion will live on through his daughter's love of dirtbikes, fast cars, and delight in spending time with loved ones.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Boyer Funeral Home, Waverly, Ohio. Burial will follow at Evergreen Union Cemetery, Denver Road, Waverly.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the beginning of the service on Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Emmy in Kyle's honor. A savings account will be created at Atomic Credit Union in Emmy's name for support of her future.
