Kyle Austin Smith, age 30, of Camden, TN, passed away November 4, 2023 at Regional One Health in Memphis, TN. Kyle was born in Nashville, TN on April 21, 1993, to Dennis Ralph Smith and Donna Lynn McIllwain. Kyle was known as a kind and good hearted person to all who knew him. He never made an enemy because he was always respectful of everyone he met. He enjoyed listening to 70’s and 80’s music. Kyle was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking and loved animals.  He had a passion for Geneaology and growing up Kyle enjoyed visiting cemeteries where he developed a love of history and family lineage.

Left to cherish his memory is mother; Donna Lynn McIllwain, Camden, TN, father; Dennis Ralph Smith (Cheryl Wunderlin), McEwen, TN, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his brother; Christopher Brett “Kipper” Smith, paternal grandparents; George Ralph Smith and Mary Rebecca Wanamaker Smith, maternal grandparents; J.C. McIllwain and Shirley Dreaden McIllwain and his precious cat; Luke.

Visitation for Kyle will be Thursday, November 9, from 4 PM-8 PM at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly and on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service beginning at 11:00 A.M. Bro. Dakota Norris will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in McEwen.

Kyle was a wonderful person and the memories of him will continue to make all who knew him smile.

Arrangements are entrusted to Luff-Bowen Funeral Home.
