With heavy heart, I accept that I will not be able to bear hug you again or bake raspberry cream cheese brownies for you. I was the only one there when U came into the world my 9 lb 13 oz pasty white hairless baby boy. I teased you many times what an ugly baby U were. Your head was squished coming out of the birth canal and your sensitive skin was so rashy. U were a caterpillar. Then I would tell you how U were the most beautiful toddler- beautiful blonde hair and sweet smile. U morphed into the most beautiful butterfly. My favorite memory is when U ran in and interrupted the adult conversation at the Thanksgiving table. I said, "tony that is not polite. U need to wait for 'whoever' to finish. When 'whoever' finished and we turned our attention to what U had to say...."Aunt Norma's car rolled down the hill and into the neighbor's mailbox". It was so funny.
As long as I can take a breath, you will live in my memory as that sweet little blonde boy. Nothing beyond that matters.
