Kyle Tims Obituary
JONESBORO - Mr. Kyle Wade Tims, of Jonesboro, departed this life on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the age of 52. He was born February 6, 1973, in Newport, the son of Reverend Thomas and Joyce (Norris) Tims.
Mr. Tims was a graduate of Jonesboro High School. He worked as a Routing Supervisor for FedEx for nineteen years. Mr. Tims was of the Baptist belief.
Mr. Tims was a gifted song writer and enjoyed playing the guitar. In addition to music, Mr. Tims also had a deep love for cooking. He will be remembered especially for his barbecue.
Mr. Tims is preceded in death by his father, Reverend Thomas Tims.
He is survived by his daughter, Cali Renae Tims; a brother, Thomas Quinn Tims and wife, Lisa, of Jonesboro; his sister, Melissa Joyce (Tims) Cousatte of Jonesboro; his mother, Joyce (Norris) Tims, of Jonesboro; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of friends.
Friends may visit at Jackson's Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, April 10, beginning at 1 p.m. Funeral services will follow, with Reverend Dewayne Roper officiating. Interment will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Les Murphy, Bud Melton, Jeremy Cook, Rob Smith, Garrett Cousatte, and Tanner Cousatte.
