L.C. Wilson was born in Camden, Alabama on January 24, 1937, to the late Isabella Bridges and Lucious Wilson.

He attended the Lutheran School in Camden, Alabama before relocating to Pensacola, Florida. After spending years in Pensacola he migrated to Massillon, OH where he remained for over 6 decades. until God called him home to glory at age 88.

He retired from The Republic Steel after working for over 30 years.

L.C. was preceded in death by one daughter, Bonnie Rene Fraiser and six Siblings, Rosie Wilson, Flora Bridges, JW Wilson, George Wilson, Hamp Bridges Sr. & George Bridges, Jr. He leaves to cherish his fond memories one son Ryan Wilson of Tallmadge, Oh, three daughters, Desiree (Jack)Henderson, of Canton, OH India Bethune of Atlanta Ga & Daisy Wilson of Pensacola, Fl two sisters, Ruth Bridges Wilson of Buffalo NY and Lucy P. Hayes of Rochester, NY five grand children-Qualyn, Marquis, SaTarra, Jada and Christopher and Five great grandchildren-Carter, Kennedy, Aaliyah, Kariauna and Amari. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special niece Etta Jackson Powell.

L.C. was a very loving, caring, and generous person who was always full of Joy. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and his family. He also loved to laugh, dance and listen to the Blues. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle, cousin and friend.
