It is with tender hearts and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Junior L Motley, affectionately known as Popcorn or Pop, on November 26, 2025. Born on November 15, 1960, in Danville, VA, Junior's life was a testament to resilience, love, and a spirited generosity, making the world brighter for those fortunate enough to be a part of his journey. He was a beacon of joy, always ensuring those around him were happy and cared for.

In his younger years, Popcorn moved from his birthplace, Danville, VA, to Columbus, Ohio, where he established a deep-rooted life. He was a generous soul, always ready to lend a helping hand, with his family being the cornerstone of his life.

Popcorn leaves behind a loving family who will continue to honor his legacy. He is survived by his mother, Florence Motley; his siblings, Lidia Bowman (James) and Bobby Motley; his children, Junior III, and Blair Motley; and his nieces, India Graves and Tiffany Gunter. He is survived by nephews and grandkids. His memory is preceded in death by his father, Johnie Motley Jr., and his siblings, Nancy Gunter and Raymond Motley.
