LaDonna Schlenz Obituary
LaDonna was born on July 27, 1940 in Glendive to her parents Gydion and Lydia (Gaub) Ulrich. She was raised and educated in Glendive graduating from Dawson County High School with the class of 1958. She was united in marriage to Larry Schlenz on August 4, 1957 and to this union four children were born. Larry and LaDonna operated their first service station for a few years before moving up the road a little way when they purchased a different service station which would become Larry's Exxon, which they would own and operate for over thirty years until their retirement in 2003.
LaDonna enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, gardening and listening to country music, especially Alan Jackson. She loved reading and was known for always having a clean and tidy home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Larry in 2021; an infant son; one brother, Duane Ulrich; three sisters, Kathleen (Kathy) Hodous, Wanda Ulrich and Arleen Ulrich.
LaDonna is survived by her children, Jerry (Jackie) Schlenz of Sidney, Loren Schlenz of Glendive, Danice (Marshall) Kamke of Rhinelander, Wisconsin and Joanne (Jay) Holliday of Wadsworth, Ohio; five grandchildren, Cassie and Abbie Kamke, Bryce and Colin Holliday and Amanda (Chase) Olson; two great grandchildren, Colton and Peyton Olson and numerous nieces and nephews.
