Born November 23,1979 in Los Angeles California, Lakeisha Patrice Taylor also known as Princess, she was the oldest daughter of Yolanda Jones and Keith Robinson. Everyone remembered her beautiful smile, big heart, and her personality that endeared her to others. Lakeisha attended public school in Los Angeles California and Las Vegas, NV and graduated from Rancho High School in 1998. She was a talented and bright student.

Lakeisha believed in God and enjoyed helping others. She enjoyed singing and had a strong voice that touched everyone. Her relationship with God grew so much she also became Pastor Lola secretary and could be always relied upon. Lakeisha had many gifts and talents, one of them complaining. Even in her complaining she still was receptive to the teaching of her Pastors and leaders, so much so she started pushing the ones that was pushing her, allowing Lakeisha to overcome her fears and learn to trust God even more.

Lakeisha worked for United Health Care for 15 years in Customer Relations. Her time with the company became an inspiration to her team. She was always concerned with making sure everyone else was okay and at times pushing things she had planned and placing them on hold. Lakeisha received numerous awards and recognition from management in her time of service at United Health care.

Love is something that came easy for Lakeisha. She always helped in any way she could, it may of came with a complaint or fussing but she always had a big heart and loved being a helping hand. She loved seeing others smile, especially her sons. She would go out of her way to make sure they had all they wanted and needed. The greatest love of her life, however, was her family. As a loyal and dedicated wife, mother, daughter, sister, and auntie Lakeisha always somehow still found time to dedicate her time to study Gods word, keep up with her Pastors schedule, along with leadership responsibilities and praise team.

Our beloved Lakeisha touched many lives with her infectious smile that will light up a whole room, gentle nature, warm humor. As a trustworthy confidant, any secret told to LaKeisha was vaulted and never mentioned.  She gave a listening ear and not only gave the best advice but prayed with you as well. She always made sure we never left God out of the equation. Lakeisha exuded a quiet strength, even in her fear she stood firmly for her values and principles. She was loved by all that knew her and shared an especially close relationship with her little sister Shonteanna. She loved her like a daughter, making sure she had everything she needed and went the extra mile making sure she was a part of every part of her life.

Lakeisha met her love of her life Alja Taylor in 1999 at NRC as coworkers that blossomed into almost 19-year marriage growing together. To their union were born two beautiful children, Isaiah and Jayelan. As devoted parents, Lakeisha and Alja unitedly and tirelessly worked to create a loving and supportive family environment, teaching their sons to love God. The two remained in the Las Vegas area until her sunset on August 30, 2023. Although her light has dimmed, Lakeisha memory shines brightly in the hearts of us all.

Her remembrance will forever radiate in the minds and hearts of her husband Alja Taylor III; sons Isaiah Taylor and Jayelan Taylor; mother Yolanda Jones; sister Shonteanna Gipson; brother-in-law Michael Gipson; nephews Michael Gipson Jr, Nahshon Gipson, De'Jon Gipson and Brian Adams; niece Aniyah Gipson and Taylor Adams; father in-law Alja Taylor Jr; sister in-law Lavonna Adams; and brother in-law Eric Adams.

In addition, Lakeisha leaves to cherish her memory are her family and friends in California.
