LaKesha Terrell "LaKesha Terrell James" James

Lakesha Terrell James, aged 48, a lifelong resident of Pensacola, FL, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025, in the same city where she first saw the world on March 16, 1977.

Lakesha, a proud graduate of JF Shields in 1996, carved a life that was centered around the joys of family and the simple pleasure of being together. She cherished the role of a loving mother and grandmother.

Though preceded in death by her grandmother, Millie Spencer; her sister, Joyketra Bivins; and her precious daughter, Antwanyia; Lakesha's spirit is carried forward through her three daughters: Lashasta, Tyeshia, Takesha; and her son, Keith. Her laughter and stories will be retold through the voices of her seven grandchildren, who were her pride and joy.

Lakesha's life was a blessing to her mother, Mary James, and her father, Walter Bivins. Her memories will further be cherished by her sister, six brothers, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel of Trahan Family Funeral Home on Saturday, November 29, 2025. Visitation will be from 9 am until the funeral begins at 11:00 am.
