Lallie "Sue" Gray, 79, of Shelbyville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Sue loved collecting frogs, drinking Mt. Dew, and she loved her cats. Her favorite thing in the world was spending time with her great grandson Elijah and her grandson Michael.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Leona Cauble; her granddaughter, Hailey M. Metts; and her sister, Ada Updike.

She is survived by her son, Danny Reed Hatchell of St. Paul, Minnesota; her daughter, Dina Metts of Shelbyville; her grandsons, Michael Hunter Metts (Nick Glass) of Shelbyville and Noah Slade Metts of Shelbyville; her great grandson Elijah Everett Glass; and her sisters, Kay Lewis of Tampa Bay, Irma Bingham of Frankfort, Lin Hott of Clear Water, and Sarah Ann Cannon of Tampa Bay.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Shannon Funeral Home in Shelbyville, Kentucky. A time to share memories of Sues life will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday October 4, 2025, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made towards the funeral expenses.
