Lamar Holmes Jr.

Lamar Joseph Holmes Jr., affectionately known as "LJ," was born on April 14, 2013, in Shelby, North Carolina. From the moment he entered this world, LJ brought light, love, and laughter to everyone around him.
LJ was a cherished son, a devoted brother, and a loyal friend. His generous spirit, kind heart, and joyful energy made a lasting impact on all who knew him. Whether he was playing soccer or football, exploring the outdoors, or enjoying his favorite video games, LJ lived life with enthusiasm and curiosity.
He is survived by his loving parents, Lamar Holmes Sr. and Whitney Holmes; his siblings, Ricayha Holmes and Zaire Holmes; his grandparents, Harriett Holmes, Susan Huskey, and Andre Spikes; and his god-father Kenneth Osuwah. He is also lovingly remembered by a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and family friends whose lives he brightened with his presence.
LJ was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Anthony Holmes and Bernard Phillips, who now welcome him with open arms.
Though his time with us was far too short, LJ's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. We find peace in knowing his soul is at rest, and we will carry his legacy of love, laughter, and light with us always.
