Ms. Lamareiana Monique Thomas passed away Monday, October 6, 2025, at Covenant Cooper Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 23 years. She was born on September 5, 2002, in Saginaw, Michigan, to parents Pecolia Monique Thomas and L. C. Lamar Clemmons.

Lamareiana, affectionally known as “Mari” was a lifelong resident of Saginaw, Michigan. She attended the Millet Learning and Transitional Center. Mari loved working with children, cleaning, dancing, eating, laughing, making bracelets, rapping, and spending time with family and friends. Mari loved pink, and Hello Kitty was her favorite character.

Mari leaves to cherish her memories, parents, Pecolia Monique Thomas and L. C. Lamar Clemmons; grandmother, Jacqueline Jones; sisters, Anaree, Journi, and Jordyn; brothers, Damarcus, Ta’mon, Demarius, L.C. Jr., Lamondre, Damarion, and Lamarrion; godfather, Larry Blacksheer nephew, Ta’mon Jr.; aunts, Reneika and Breeshay Thomas, Arquetta, and Angela, Kelisa; great aunt, Jennifer Clemmons; uncles, Willie (Lexus) Lytle, Reginald Cooper, Jermaine, and Marcus Clemmons; great uncles, Kenny (Trina) Lytle, Curtis Thomas, Adam (Jean) Clemmons, Ronnie Clemmons; goddauaghter, Maddisyn Burrell; many other relatives and friends including special friends and family thank you to, Jamika Lytle, Latosha Belvin, Annette Williams, Erika Hudson, Alicia and Carlissa Parks, Alexia Curry, Tanisha Rucker, Teonna Wilson, Jameshia Dorsey, Carlina Phillips, the Thomas, Burtons, and Holmes family.

Mari was preceded in death by her grandfather, Richard Thomas; her grandmother, great-grandmother Lenora and Jackie Clemmons; her uncle, Noel Thomas; and great-great-grandfather, Willie (Irma) Lytle.

The family would like to express special thanks to Millet Learning and Transitional Center, Covenant Harrison, and Cooper Children's Hospital of Detroit, and to everyone who played a role in Mari’s life.
