Lambert was born on March 15, 1951, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to James Huey Dunn and Nina Ree Reppond. He passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, in Monroe after a brief illness.
Lambert was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Family and an unwavering work ethic have been important to him throughout his life. He worked for over forty-three years as a rough neck, tool pusher and driller in the oil fields of Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma and made two trips to China, working in oil production. After retirement his passions were crappie and bass fishing. He enjoyed any opportunity to be on a lake or creek, waiting for the fish to bite. He found enjoyment in the simple things in life, and truly loved spending time with his family, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lambert lived many of his “working” years in Elk City, Oklahoma before moving to Monticello.
