On Saturday, March 7, 2020, God stretched out His hand and took her to her eternal home where she received her heavenly body. Lana was born in Altus, OK on September 1, 1949. She was the first of four daughters born to Moss and Dora Freeman. She grew up in Derby, KS until she graduated from high school, then in 1971 she followed her family to Garland, TX. She spent the remainder of her life in Texas, settling in Rowlett for the last 22 years. Lana is survived by her husband of 24 years, Gary Woodall, sons Christopher Arneson, (Lafayette, LA) and Gary & Karla Arneson (Plano, TX), stepson Justin Woodall (Arvada, CO), stepdaughter Clisty Pratt (Ft Worth, TX), sisters Marilyn & Ken Henderson (Rowlett, TX), Renee & Brad Koehler (Oklahoma City, OK), Sharon & Harold Persell (Dolores, CO), brother-in-law Larry & Nancy Woodall (Flower Mound, TX) and their daughters Lauren and Katelyn Woodall, five granddaughters, Kayla, Brooklyn, Karah, Allison, and Maddie Arneson, and one grandson, Samuel Arneson. She was proceeded in death by her parents Moss W. and Dora Beth Freeman (Garland, TX). Pallbearers are her nephew's Brandon and Eric Hall, Michael Oliver, brother-in-laws Harold Persell, Brad Koehler, and Larry Woodall. Lana fought the hardest battle of her life over the past 2 years. She was a fighter! But God had a different plan and a cure was not to be. So as we say goodbye on this earth - we will see her again in Heaven. Services entrusted to Charles W. Smith & Sons of Sachse, Texas.
