Lance Isaiah Black Hawk

Lance Isaiah Black Hawk was born on April 26, 1988 in Pine Ridge, SD to Thomas Dean Lays Hard and Yvonne Black Hawk. Lance made his journey to the Spirit World on December 18, 2025 in Rapid City, SD.
"There is no death, only a change of worlds." a famous quote by Chief Seattle. Lance was a free spirit, he lived his life on his own terms, even if it met pay the consequences. Lance attended Little Wound School and he didn't like being told what to do, later in his life, he went to Job Corps in Nemo, SD.
Lance will be greatly missed by his son, Izaiah Black Hawk; daughter, Briella Little Whiteman; brothers, Thomas & Kasey Black Hawk, George Ward, & Win Two Eagle; sisters, Beth Gay, Jill Black Hawk, Alannah Z. Mesteth, Sheila & Charlotte Two Eagle.
Lance is survived by his mother, Alberta Gay; brothers, Thomas S. and Kasey Black Hawk, George, Win, & Ward Two Eagles; sisters, Beth & Jill Black Hawk, Alannah Zoe Mesteth, Sheila & Charlotte Two Eagle; son, Izaiah Jones Black Hawk; daughter, Briella Lou Little Whiteman; and step-father, Edmond Mesteth.
Lance was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Lays Hard; sisters, Nicole A. Two Crow and Georgette Two Eagle; cousins, Steven Gay, Justin Vasquez, Alex Vasquez, Carlin J. Red Blanket, Jr., Jacob Pourier, Virgil Grass, Tyler Two Crow, Paulette Pourier, and Clint Lee Lays Hard; uncles, Pete Gay, and Leo Lays Hard; and aunts, Connie Lays Hard-Cutshall and Donna Lays Hard.
