Lance Allen Gillette Sr, 47, of Lexington died Sunday, July 23, 2018.
He was born November 18, 1970 in Port Huron to Robert and Pamela Gillette.
Lance worked as an iron worker with Local 25 for 29 years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and swimming in the lake. He was talented at preparing and cooking fish and wild game. Most importantly, Lance loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by the love of his life, Lori Lynn Jock; three children, Lance Allen Gillette Jr. (Lisa Creagh), Autumn Gillette, and Jacklyn (Cody) Stokan; step-son, Corey McClintock; five grandchildren, Aiden Mitchell and Marie, Ella, Mabel and Anna Gillette; parents, Robert and Pamela Gillette; two siblings, Jason (Jean) Gillette and Heather (Jason) Nays; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by brothers-in-law, Tommy & Johnny McClintock.
Visitation will be from 6-9 pm on Thursday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 27, 2018 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. The Reverend Alex Weiss of Living Word Missionary Church in Lexington will officiate.
Burial will follow in Port Sanilac Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lance Jr., Jason, Autumn and Brady Gillette, and Jason, Robbie and Michael Nays.
Memorial contributions may be made to Living Word Missionary Church.
