Mr. Lance M. Kaull

I have many happy memories of growing up with Lance in Ashtabula.
May he rest in Peace.

I grew up with Lance in Ashtabula, OH. I will always remember him as a kind and gentle person...always nice to everyone. My condolences go out to his family and the many people that knew him. When God made Lance he broke the mold as Lance was an original. He was one of my greatest friends through high school. He had an enormous heart as did his Mom and Dad, Gloria and George. He was gregarious, principled, competitive, and incredibly generous. Our escapades were truly epic.

Among them were ice fishing and snowmobiling with our Dad's in Canada, the motor home commute to see the Cavaliers in Richfield, The Christmas trip with the Kaull Family to New York City on a private plane into Teterborough Airport, including dinner at BeniHana's, a Broadway Play, and an overnight at the St Regis Hotel on 5th Avenue. I remember going shopping there with Lance and George. We went to Abercrombie and Fitch when it was a high class retailer. They had an entire department of outdoor gear along with original artwork, detailed watercolors of water fowl, and George was schooling the sales clerk on his merchandise. I had never witnessed such a unexpected mastery of the merchandise. I imagined the sales clerk was completely flat footed.

But the most amazing of all, the 6 weeks ripping through Europe in the summer of 1974 with an obligatory penance of 2 weeks labor at the Scottish subsidiary of Premix where some poor local employee was tasked with supervising us in constructing the interior of the new plant. We were lacking in skills and I did not envy his job. We did our best but welders we were not.

But the greatest amount of time we spent together was playing basketball on the Kaull court on Overlook Dr. Hours and hours of basketball playing one on one, mimicking the moves of some of the legends like Earl the Pearl Monroe. We'd play until we couldn't walk and then inside for lime slushes. Although we have not seen each other for many years, Lance will always have a large soft spot reserved in my heart. I will miss you dear friend and will never forget you.

I grew up on Crawford Road too and Lance, Brenda and I were all good friends. I lost track of him years ago but never forgot him. He was a great childhood friend. I am so sorry for the loss his family is going through. He was much too young.

It's been a long time since I've Seen Lance and his brothers and sisters. We grew up together on Crawford rd. The Neighborhood Gang would always Look up to Lance for guidance. We all had respect for his dad and mom to help instill a positive outlook for our childhood memories. My God be with you through your final journey of life . Karl Campbell/-Cobby

I am deeply saddened to learn of Lances passing. I went to school with Lance and remember him to be so kind, he had a huge heart and a great smile. My condolences to the family. May they find comfort in the wonderful memories of a husband, dad, brother, frie.

Lance is the Greatest Friend. He has helped me so much with everything. He always had the best advice, and could answer any music question you could give him. I would talk to Lance all the time, just to talk. There is not a day that goes by, that I don't think to myself, "I cant wait to tell Lance ". You will be truly missed, my Good Friend.

Anne and Family ,We are so very sad about the passing of your husband Lance .We will keep you and the family in our prayers and thoughts. Lance was very colorful and there are a ton of wonderful memories for you and everyone to share to keep him alive in your hearts. He was a very good friend to our son Jimmy and he thought the world of Lance. With Peace in our hearts.
