Lance Garn Mecham 1962 ~ 2012 Lance Garn Mecham age 50, passed away December 29th, 2012, at his home in Provo. He was born March 22, 1962, to Garn L. & Miriam Bunker Mecham. He graduated from Mt. View High School class of 81. He was gifted with many mechanical attributes. He worked in the automotive industry at various locations in Utah County throughout his life. Lance had a great love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and the beauty of the mountains. He married Paula Stevenson January 31, 1992, and later divorced. He married Teresa Street Downard, November 30th, 1996, in Orem. Survived by his wife Teresa, Children: Autumn (Jimmy) Greene; Brandi Downard; Derek Downard. Grandchildren: Trinity Greene, Keelan & Kason Davison, Olivia Downard. (Green River Wyoming) Parents Orson and Miriam B. Stilson (Fairview) Jean Mecham (St. George), Mother-in-law Anita Rawlings (Orem). Siblings Steven (Alice) Mecham (Lakeshore), Douglas (Rosemary) Springville, Shauna (Frank) Hatch (Spanish Fork). Jeff Burnham (SLC), Todd (Verleen) Burnham (Orem),Wendy (Randy) Anderson, Dennis (Vonda) Stilson, Diann (Rodger) Clement (Spanish Fork) and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father Garn L. Mecham. Viewing will be Thursday, January 3, 2013, from 6 -8 pm at the Walker Sanderson Tribute Center, 85 E. 300 S. Provo and Friday morning, January 4th, 9:45-10:45 am at the Lakeside 4thWard Chapel, 102 N. 2400 W. Provo. Funeral Services to follow Friday at 11 am. Interment will be at the Provo City Cemetery.
