Lance WELDON

William "Lance" Weldon, 49, of Swea City, IA passed away November 12, 2010. To honor his request, his body has been cremated and there will be no visitation held. A memorial service will be held in Rome, GA on 11/20/2010. Lance was born on September 21, 1961 in Hammond, IN to Bennie and Delores Weldon. He attended school in Kansas. Lance spent most of his life in apartment management and maintenance in Texas and California before residing in Iowa. He enjoyed the outdoors, riding his motorcycle, boating, camping, working on cars with his dad and spending time with friends and family. Lance is survived and lovingly remembered by his four children, Lance Weldon, Amber Manning, Corey Weldon and Alisha Embly all of Kansas; two step children, Debbie Anderleder of California & David Anderleder of Colorado; Ten grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren; mother Delores (Weldon) Dorris of CA, two brothers and three sisters; Rick Weldon of Rome, GA, Barbara Gibson of Swea City, IA, Jeannie Haynes of Talladega, AL, Diane Weldon of Rome, GA and Keith Weldon of Rome, GA; and several nieces and nephews. Lance was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Weldon and father Bennie Weldon. Lance was loved by all and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
