Landis M. Martin

Landis M. Martin, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, went home to be with the Lord on October 31, 2025, age 69, at Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Miriam B. Martin, North Lebanon, Pa. They were married for forty-eight years.
Landis was born to the late Alvin and Miriam (Martin) Martin on October 7, 1956, at their family farm in Kutztown, Pa. He lived his life rooted in his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, love for family and people, and a passion for the agricultural industry and farming. Landis worked for Mark Hershey Farms as the manager of Bethel Grain for fourteen years. He enjoyed being retired, had many beautiful moments surrounded by his large and happy family, random fishing trips with grandkids, yearly camping trips to Spruce Lake, and kayaking on nearby lakes. He was always delighted to go visiting, discuss family history, and talk politics and the Bible. He was proud to be Pennsylvania Dutch and loved his heritage.
He was an active member of Blainsport Mennonite Church where he loved to serve and be a blessing to the body of Christ.
Landis is survived by his loving wife Miriam B. Martin, children Amie married to Matthew Bomgardner, Kathleen married to Paul A. Cortez, Matthew Martin, Pamela married to Roger Diem, Sharon married to Philip Hart, Andrew Martin married to Brittany, Sara married to Jared Aungst, Patricia married to Justin Bonebrake, Daniel Martin, and Laura Martin. He is survived by 29 grandchildren, seven brothers and four sisters, and sisters and brothers-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters- in-law.
Visitation will be held at Weaverland Anabaptist Faith Community in East Earl on Friday, November 7th from 1:00 - 3:00 pm, and 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Visitation on Saturday, November 8th will be 9:00 - 10:00 am, with the service at 10:00 am. Graveside service will be held at Blainsport Mennonite in Reinholds followed by a meal.
