Mr. Landon “Andy” Andrew Hayes, 65, passed away on June 16, 2025. He was born on November 4, 1959 in Yadkin County to the late Buddy Landon Hayes and Mary Faye Plott Hayes. Landon loved going hunting and fishing. Most importantly, he loved his grandbabies and watching them play.
In addition to his parents, Andy was preceded in death by his son, Michael Landon Hayes. He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Susan Norman Hayes; children, Andrea Hayes and Jennifer (Christopher) Souther; grandchildren, Haylee (Charles) Moore, Chloe Hayes, Charles Nance, Kayelyn Hayes, and Faith Blevins; and a great granddaughter, Harlee Moore.
A Celebration of Andy's Life will be from 3:00-5:00 PM Sunday, June 22, 2025 at Lake Hampton in Hamptonville, NC. The family requests everyone to bring a fishing pole to enjoy a time of fellowship together in memory of Andy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley – SECU Hospice Care Center of Yadkin at 243 N Lee Ave, Yadkinville, NC 27055. The family would also like to thank the SECU Hospice Care Center of Yadkin for their love and care over Landon.
