Landra Drinks Obituary
Landra received his early education in Lowndes County, Georgia, before relocating to Newark, New Jersey in 1974. He proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1978 to 1981, where he drove trucks for recruitment. Following his service, he pursued a career in landscaping, a trade he mastered with dedication and pride.
Landra was known for his love of adventure, especially horseback riding, motorcycles, and his childhood games of Cowboys and Indians. His spirited personality and warm heart touched everyone who knew him.
Landra was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Lithoria Drinks and Calvin Carter; his grandparents, Lucious and Corine Leonard; uncles, Lucious Leonard, Darrell Leonard, and Willie Leonard; and his aunt, Janie Ruth Moore.
Landra's memory will live on through his devoted family, including his favorite aunt, Margaret Leonard of Newark, NJ; aunts, Catherine Dandy of Columbia, SC, and Alicha Ann (Felton) Whitehead of Valdosta, GA; uncles, Virgil Leonard and Willie (Jenelle) Leonard of Valdosta, GA, Clifford Ted Dennis of Bonaire, GA, and Marvin (Vera) Leonard. He is also survived by his great-aunt Betty Drinks, special cousin Chris (Fatima) Leonard, and a host of cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
May he rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love he gave so freely and the life he lived so fully.
