Landy Alexander, 65, of St. Louis, MO, died on October 10, 2025. Landy was a man whose spirit shone brightly in the lives of everyone who had the privilege to know him. Landy was born on, October 12, 1959, to Vera Lee Alexander who instilled in him the values of love, hard work, and devotion to family. Growing up in Saint Louis, Missouri, he developed a passion for life that would resonate throughout his journey. His time at Northwest High School set the foundation for a lifetime of friendships, adventures, and cherished memories.

Landy's heart was filled with a love for classic cars, a passion that not only brought him joy but also allowed him to connect with others who shared similar interests. As a dedicated collector, he spent countless weekends restoring and admiring vintage vehicles, often sharing stories of his latest finds with family and friends. His unique ability to appreciate the beauty in these classic cars mirrored his appreciation for the people around him, reminding all of us that sometimes the simplest passions can lead to the most profound connections.

For over 30 years, Landy devoted himself to his work at Barnes Hospital, where his dedication and compassion made a lasting impact on his colleagues and the patients he served. His work ethic was matched only by his warmth and kindness, which brought comfort to many. Landy was a true testament to professional dedication, and his legacy of care and support will continue to inspire those he worked with long after his departure.

Though Landy never had children of his own, he embraced the roles of uncle and friend with an open heart. He often said that his nieces and nephews were the children he never had and he cherished every moment spent with them. Landy's love for his family knew no bounds; his siblings and extended family meant the world to him. He was a loving brother and a devoted family member, always ready with a word of encouragement or a helping hand. The ripple effect of his love and support will be felt for generations to come.

As we celebrate Landy's life, let us remember his laughter, his caring nature, and the countless memories we shared. He epitomized joy, resilience, and sincerity, and his legacy will forever remain in our hearts. Landy, you will be missed dearly, but your spirit will live on in the stories we tell, the love we share, and the lessons you imparted. Today, we honor you-not with tears, but with smiles and laughter, celebrating a life well-lived and a heart that will never be forgotten.

A truly extraordinary man. Always willing to help, make you laugh or lend an ear if you needed to talk. I had the pleasure of working with him.
I am better for getting to know him.

I worked with Landy for about 20 years in the pharmacy and he was one of a kind, I always told him he reminded me of Morris Day (the lead singer of the group The Time) He had a swag that I can't forget I will truly miss his smile and his smooth talk ... If you know you know LOL...RIP my friend
