Martha Parks, LCSW
November 21, 2024
I was rejected the first time I applied to the College of Social Work. I was told to take some post baccalaureate classes and reapply. Luckily I took a couple of Dr. Veltkamp's classes. I learned so much and those classes lit a fire within me. He also wrote a letter of recommendation and I finally got in the MSW program. I have been a practicing LCSW for almost 18 years due to his kindness and encouragement. He was one of the best professors I had. He has left a mighty legacy in the field of Social Work. Thank you Dr. Veltkamp for making a difference not just to me but to so many people.

I submitted this once but it hasn´t appeared ye
I met Lane 31 years ago when he married my dearest friend Mary Beth.
Through the years we have dined together, went on a snowmobiling trip to Michigan.
We had so much fun.
The guy could make a mean PERFECT old fashion.
Loved him so much.
He will be greatly missed
Condolences to Mary Beth, , Stacy, Danny, Clay and Houston
